I seriously was trying quite hard to ignore people's commentaries to the video. I'm angry at how people agrees and support her just like that. Helloo, don't be so two-faced. When I watched the video I for a moment too was sucked into her reasonings. No doubt what she said has a certain truth to it, but after thinking about it for awhile, I thought better of it. Because we have everything we need here, and we're living much better lives than others (even though I too feel escaping Sg, but it's not because it's a bad place).
AND, yes I agree that everyone can have their own opinions. She have her own, she will be responsible for her own words and thoughts. But these people who agrees with her so damn much, are you moving out of Sg too? Are you ready to get out of the country with her? No? Shut up then.
Submissive, easily brain-washed, aren't these people who agress with her that way too? Just agreeing to what she's saying. She's complaining because she's not successful. She's not even trying hard enough. There's so many successful musicians and artists in Sg too who have become successful, who have even ventured overseas, and is still a proud Singaporean. And if you don't want to call yourself a Singaporean, what do you want to call yourself? You're born and raised here. Do you really think other countries would accept you just because you like them better? You're just 1 person, how much change can you bring for them for you to be so preciously cherished and welcomed there?
She thinks what she want, and you, if you agree with her, do something about it too. Because if not, why do you agree with her? That Singapore is not survivable for you? Her points are pretty much hers, because if by being unable to succeed here means that Singapore is a "bad country" then tell me where is a "good country".
